Graduated :')
Graduation was yesterday :) ... Surprisingly it felt kind of like any other school day...just a bit more fun...
school provided breakfast... actually..it was more like we paid for the breakfast...anyways it was just some bihun..a piece of sausage and fishcake... and a chrysanthemum tea drink.... Then we had to go up to the hall for prize giving... I didn't know I got anything until the rehearsal that day..haha.. But i got top 10 for english (i'm the ninth one XD ) ... was kinda surprised but oh well.. its a good thing..
As usual..all those VIPs came... and one after another gave long draggy speeches that were quite insignificant to us...one of them said something abt... a farmer was old and couldnt work anymore... so he told his next generation to feed the paddy to the pigs and slaughter them to make into hot dogs and eventually he got successful..haha... if only they made things short and simple... then the prize giving started and those people from the first class...haih... u see them goin up multiple times... reminds me of Sean in standard six..haha...anyways... waited so long before it was my turn.. and we still had to wait for the certs to be given to those who were active in koko... then came speeches from wakil pelajar...first was the head boy's speech.. nothing special..then came Kai Ye's speech :) ... she's a pretty... cute.. i would say quite popular girl... used to be in the same class as her.. but she is quite a charismatic creature... her speech was in mandarin and it felt meaningful... It felt like something she really meant and it applied to us all... not like the farmer with pig and turn them into hot dog story..Then it was time to sing the school song and graduation song ... Was alone so quickly looked for friends... and when i saw them Ying Ying was already crying..haha.. the guys were teasing her coz she started crying halfway through the school song..haha... very untimely lah... But well.. it was the last time we were gonna sing that song (unless anyone becomes a teacher and goes back) ... I wonder if its because the realisation hasn't sunk in but I don't feel so sad.. maybe its because i know i'll see them again.. or maybe i'm just cold-hearted and unfeeling o.O
Then we had to get ready for the performance... We were the last class to perform...the other classes put up a really good show too... some were really creative... and some just surprised people... I was in the same class with this girl who was really quiet, studious and shy in form 2 and form 3 ... She became a prefect in form 3 which was when she started speaking up a bit i tink... then form 4 and 5 we were in different classes...but imagine the surprise we got when she performed for the class..she was the one singing in front... and she's pretty good at it... pretty amazing what talents lurk behind every person that we never dug up... And thanks to this graduation performance..i think the class has kind of gotten closer :)
Then at night we had a barbecue party at peiboon's house... was quite fun... But it was an extremely tiring day... didn't get enough sleep on thursday and slept quite late yesterday as well..coz i came home and " When A Stranger Calls" was on..haha.. so i watched it... and had to wake up early today for tuition+piano+tuition.... pretty exhausted... but just a few more days till we meet our doom :( .... thank goodness most of the tuitions have ended.... hehe...
