Blog Action Day 2008
I received an email from the Blog Action Day people and thought why not sign up... and this year's topic is Poverty...
Well... poverty is something that still plagues us until today... sadly... You'd think in our society now thing would be better but no... it just gets worse...Its the usual vicious cycle of the poor get poorer and rich get richer .... Therefore... poverty will always be a problem...unless something is done about it...
And with poverty comes people taking advantage of the poor... (this may be not related exactly..hehe) When i was eating at the coffee shop there was this... i tink he had a broken leg... and he was playing the harmonica asking for money... then aunt said there's an indian guy who waits outside for him and takes his collection....so... even the poor and helpless get picked on... :( ... its a sad sad situation....
So what can we do about it......? i ain't too sure myself actually :P ... All i know is we can do our part to reduce poverty rates... how? Study hard and get a good job and dont be a beggar in the future XD ..... Or the safest thing to do is donate to the trusted charities... not those scams... that'd be bad..falling for scamming charities....
well...that's what i can do for blog action day... not really sure how to get round to the topic :P ..hehe
