MBO..

now open at Harbour Place!! :)

I've never been to an MBO cinema before and i didn't know they'd be open at Harbour Place so soon..

Since bro's best buds are over at the other side of Klang and MBO was open they went there for a movie and bro came home so happy..
He was just saying the other day that the 3D technology we have in Malaysia is not really worth paying that extra bit to watch..apparently he did some research before making that statement.. BUT.. after he watched Despicable Me at MBO he told me to watch there.. he didn't know if it was because the screen is new but he just said he liked the experience..

So.. cousin CK, bro and i went to harbour place yesterday :) ..

As you go up the parking there are pictures of whales and fishes on the wall.. haha.. and we are quite a childish lot so we started...

Me: Fishy!!
CK: Whale!!
Me: Fishy!!
CK: Whale!!

and then bro was feeling kinda sad coz he said when he came with his friends and started to say fish and whale aloud his friends gave him the -.- look and called him childish..hehe.. i went with the right crowd :D ..

At the moment there's nothing at harbour place except for the cinema on the 7th floor.. ohh wait, there is a cafe on the ground floor called Geylang something.. :/ ..erm.. Geylang famous for food meh? ._.

Anyways.. back to MBO.. it's so new it has that new place smell..and it's so new that the 3 of us were the only people watching Despicable Me at the time -.- .. their ticketing counter is nicer than gsc or tgv.. their popcorn is not nicer than tgv or gsc though.. and i wish they'd clean their 3D glasses coz when i put mine on it was quite blurry due to dirt..

So back to the 3D experience... i've only watched Avatar and Despicable Me in 3D.. and i don't know if it will be fair for me to make the comparison because when i watched Avatar i was at the row furthest from the screen .. when i watched Despicable Me i was right at the center..
so unless it is proven that distance does not affect the 3D experience, MBO at harbour place wins ! coz when i watched avatar i didn't feel much of the 3D-ness..

And something to remember.. if you normally wear glasses but have a pair of contact lens.. do remember to wear the contact lens coz 3D glasses aren't like lab goggles that fit nicely over your glasses -.- .. haih.. now i even fail as a 3D movie watcher..

And how was Despicable Me? It was adorable :3 .. so adorable that i feel the need to get a unicorn toy..a big fluffy one! or or.. an Agnes toy.. XD ..
