Yesterday was New Year's Eve.... and I think it was the most tiring one so far..
In the morning woke up earlier than usual around 6.30 (well..usual is kinda late ever since the holidays started..) so that we could go to the airport to send Elvina and YongJie off... (felt kinda guilty coz I didnt really talk to El much..haih.) At about 10 something they went into the... erm.. they went down and passed through the gate thingy....? what's that procedure called?
Then we went to midvalley coz mum still has to work.. so she worked..we watched a movie..hehe.. and had lunch and went back... went cycling in the park with Jill and Yimin while Kahyee walked... and then..we lost Kahyee XD .... haha... looked for her.. thank goodness we found her..... After a while they went back... and we bought food for dinner+supper...
The rest of the night was pretty much like any other family gathering... until about 12 am... countdown and wishing ppl happy new year was done... then soon after everyone went home..
So what happened in 2008.... ??
1. We had SPM
2. We graduated Form 5
3. Went to Italy and Switzerland
4. Foot got run over by a car....
5. Injured knees in the McDonald marathon... (the last marathon I ran..)
6. Performed on the stage with Yimin ( and there were people shouting our names as we went on stage..haha... so supportive :) ) We didn't win anything but..we also didnt think we'd get past the audition... so it was a great experience...
7. Made a "second family" at school ..haha...
Well.. I don't really remember anything else that's worth putting down on this list.. I don't think there's anything else... but what I know is... I really enjoyed 2008... coz overall... everything was fine... I had a lot of fun ..maybe more than I should've had but it was all worth it :) ... so here's to a new year filled with new hopes..new experiences and new achievements..Have a happy 2009!
