Got a letter today..

It was a big envelope.. with my name written on it in very large capitals.. inside..?

3 flyers about the Malaysian Youth Orchestra and the audition (registration fee is RM70)... (i think it was malaysian.. can't be klang or selangor -.- anyways i put it in the send-to-recycling-center bin)

1st thought: wow!! orchestra :D + *.* ...
2nd thought: gahh... the orchestra doesn't need pianists.. and my violin skills suck.. :(
3rd thought: how did they get my address?? -.- ..

one of those days when i think about if only they've let me start violin when i was much younger and really wanted to.. but can't change that now *shrug* ..

i don't quite know why i wanted to learn it so badly when i was younger.. i've only seen people play on tv a few times but i guess i kinda fell in love with the sound of it.. and when i saw in primary school some of my friends knew how to play i was so jealous.. i used to hate the piano and tell my parents to let me learn both or drop one to learn the other.. obviously they said no and their reason was "you can't even play the piano well and you wanna play the vioin? don't joke lahh" .. yea, they were pretty harsh about it..

so i made a deal with them..in 2006 if i get good PMR results, i want violin lessons.. nothing else.. and those were the best exam results i ever achieved..

Fast forward to now.. February's ending and i know i screwed up horribly for a lot of things so.. i have to sacrifice.. taking a break from violin lessons until my exams are over..probably for the best.. *sigh* .. but i shall promise myself right now that no matter what.. i will continue learning until i've mastered it(even if i have to take classes when i'm working already or maybe when i retire or something)..

Hmm..maybe i should make a list of things to do before i die.. XD ..
