Turned 18 yesterday :) ...
It's one of the more toned-down celebrations i've had... usually we celebrate on the birthday itself and have dinner but this year we cut the cake around 12am.. lesser people too since a few of my cousins weren't here but i felt just as loved as usual :D .. Aunt made me an ice-cream cake <3 ..
In the morning i wasn't sure if i could go for my undang exam... since the guy told me not firm yet so... i slept quite late... XD ... but when i woke around 11am mum told me to call the guy in case he made a booking..so after my parents went to tapau bah kut teh i called..and he straight away asked.. you wanna take your test or not...?? and after i said ok.. he said be ready in an hour... -.- ..
i called mum to make sure it was ok and she rushed back with the bah kut teh... usually it takes quite a long time at the shop but the guy let her cut queue.. :) ..
At the undang place (it's called Rilek -.- ) ... i gave the lady my IC and waited while finishing the questions i have left in the book.. i arrived at that place around 2.20... my test was at 5 something... the wait was agony!!!!!!! but thank goodness i passed :D .. so i'll go for amali on wednesday...
I think Yimin wanted to go out on my birthday itself but since i was busy she said we'll go out today.. i had a hunch she was gonna do something nice for me XD ... anyways... she picked me up and on our way to Jusco Bukit Tinggi Chinli called Yimin..after talking a while Yimin said "put in the bag first" .. i sensed something so i casually asked "put what in the bag?" then Yimin just said.. ohh.. Chinli bought junk food for the movie...
arrived at JJ.. went to the cinema to get tickets for Alvin & the Chipmunks.. had lunch at Vivo.. and before the food came Chinli took out the stuff from her bag... she bought 3 slices of cakes from Secret Recipe.. :) .. we had some cake before the food came coz we'd be late for the movie... but in the end we WERE late for the movie.. so we actually thought if we should go in but sneak to the theatre showing Sherlock Holmes..
Our plan failed... coz we couldn't find the theatre with Sherlock.. so we just watched the chipmunks.. (my favourite is Theodore~~) after the movie we were itching to watch Sherlock and his buddy Watson so we got the tickets and went to Old Town to finish up the cake with some drinks.. went to popular after that for some stuff and time for Sherlock Holmes!!
i must say... i didn't like who they chose for Sherlock even when i saw the trailer.. coz... Sherlock Holmes doesn't look like THAT... sherlock is supposed to be clean cut... tall with a sharp nose.. sharp and perceptive eyes... and i didn't finish a complete book of sherlock (i read the abridged version before) but i doubt he ever got into fights.. but having said that.. i enjoyed the movie very much.. and if it hadn't been called Sherlock Holmes i would've enjoyed it even more :) ...
It was a good day all in all :) .. at least i got to see a few of my favourite people this holiday.. it's gonna get tougher and tougher to meet up in the future...
College starts next wednesday..... haih... i'm hoping the timetable will be much "looser" ... and AS results... i'm mentally preparing myself to face it :S ... i know it's gonna be ugly...
