After a few days of joining the TSR forum place i managed to gather some info...
Apparently the UCAS deadline has been pushed to Jan 22.. if it had remained on Jan 15 i probably would have heard more from the unis by now -.- .. so i'm wondering if they'll just wait for the AS results to be out as well before making a decision .. haih..
Secondly.. the unis get to see our LNAT much much earlier than when we get our results (probably directly after we take the exam they can see the results :S ) .. that explains why Bristol could give me an offer...
Oh oh.. and something i learnt not from the forum! (apparently this has been true for very long already but i just found out..) The government in UK sets a higher quota for international students coz we're worth more pounds.. when i read about it i had very mixed feelings..
1. For once (oklah.. to be fair maybe not just once), being a Malaysian has its privileges..
2. So... they offered me because i increase their earnings? D: .. depressing -.- ..
Anyways...i bet the application stuff is really boring to you people and only i find it somewhat fascinating and exciting... so.. i will now change the topic to PS3 ...
Yes.. the PS3 has been long anticiapted.. i never dreamed of smelling it.. touching it.. but i did! (minus the smelling part) ... My cousin got one yesterday so right after college bro called and asked if i wanna go play.. so i said "OK!" .. but i was responsible enough to bring my maths h/w to do there..hehe..
Unfortunately, they only had 3 games.. and the 3 of us agree that the TV they have does not maximise the PS3's potential for graphics..hence my disappointment.. i thought i would be ooh-ing and ahh-ing.. but.. no -.- .. took some short naps while they gamed, did my math and we went out for dinner together :) .. sucks eating with them coz they don't grow fat and i do .. pfft..
Oh oh.. and just to continue my stream of randomness.. yesterday night i suddenly thought of Winnie the Pooh.. i was thinking about something then his famous phrase "Oh bother" came to my mind.. so i googled "Oh bother" and what i found was this ... A very interesting definition indeed... Pooh would say that if he had a movie that was rated18+ for violence XD
