Theobrama Chocolate Lounge

As promised this post will be about the richest hot chocolate i've had so far..

I won't say it was the most satisfying i've had because the weather here doesn't really facilitate hot chocolate in the afternoons very well :/ ... but it was still a yummy cup of hot chocolate :D ..

First the hot chocolate...

I went to this place by recommendation and the person who recommended said to order the big one, which comes in a Mug n Warmer so i did.. (RM12.90 if not mistaken)



I had the Fair Lady flavour which is milk chocolate.. you can order Ms Coco (dark chocolate) or.. i think the other one is called Snow White (white chocolate).. ohh and they even have hot chocolate with chilli (or was it chilli powder?) ..which may sound strange to many but according to those food programmes i've seen and even in the movie Chocolat it is supposedly quite nice.. maybe i'll have a go at that some day :)

Usually with hot chocolate you use cocoa powder and stuff and of the many hot chocolates i've had.. none of them had this at the bottom :

good thing about it was the richness wasn't overwhelming.. it was still smooth...


after finishing the drink i even used my spoon to eat the chocolate from the side of the mug.. until mum asked me to stop doing that -.- ...




Finished it till the very last drop :D


But... the food there is crap... well, at least the ones we had were..

I ordered the Chicken Pizza.. which.. wasn't really a pizza.. it was probably premade and when ordered thrown into a mini oven or something to heat up .. that isn't the biggest issue though.. it didn't really taste like pizza -.- .. it has a sort of asian twist on it coz it kinda had some curryish taste and ... urgh... i don't even know how to describe it... even the dough was.. i dunno.. some parts were kinda stale... but the whole pizza was really... chewy and unpleasant :(

Mum had the "today's special" which was i think butter rice and curry chicken.. it comes with coffee/tea and ice cream.. mum's main meal was also crappy... but the ice cream was fun to eat coz it's vanilla ice cream with (if i'm not mistaken) chocolate sauce and in the cup is some solidified chocolate which i think isn't meant for consumption XD..

Conclusion: Go there for the drink but not for the food :)
