We learn something new everyday...

As a student, yea.. but i'm talking more about matters non-academic.. simple conversations can bring about a whole bunch of interesting facts :)

Like how today is the first day of spring on the lunar calendar.. and how apparently today you can balance an egg on its bottom and it will stay in place (though i'm not sure i wanna believe that we can only do that TODAY but still, an interesting chinese myth/truth).. :D

Earlier in class Wun Yeun had her usual daily Chinese newspaper with her and i forgot why but she pointed out the word "性" (the headline was about Anwar so..yea -.- ) to Elvina (i think sort of teaching Elvina new words for fun?) then she told Elvina..

WunYeun : "this word means sex"
Elvina : "ohh.. " *takes newspaper and shows to Ee Leng*
"Ee Leng, this word means Love"
Ee Leng : "Huh..? really meh? this is love??" *looks skeptical*

so today i also learnt confirmed the fact that Elvina is the most mischievous girl I know .. :)


Back to learning... the other day i was at my aunt's place and Rachel was watching Pocoyo.. and i watched a bit with her (she wasn't really watching though she said she wanted to -.- ) and then i saw the narrator was Stephen Fry... O.O .. i learnt something watching a kid's show :D ..
