Another day at home...

Starting to think I'm not a lucky person ....
Today we're supposed to have the Australian Maths Competition...which i paid for a few months ago.... then i did some of the questions yesterday night..(usually i don't even bother preparing)... Then yesterday itself I had diarrohea... but i thought it was not big deal at first... then in the morning no problem...shower, get in the car, eat... but once i was in the car...my tummy sent me signals :( .... tummy was not happy...so I suggested we go to my aunt's place and i'll relieve my tummy there... by the time i was done we were late....internal conflict of whether or not to go to school.... seeing as this is a thursday... and there are no science subjects... i decided to skip...
This can't go on though... i need tummy strengthening food..therapy...or whatever you need for a good and happy tummy... vitagen maybe...?

Been a long time since my last post..hehe... but nothing interesting been happening.... and i was lazy to update :P ....
Haih... I wanted to go for the adidas run... and they said closing date was 25th July i think...i was kinda putting it off but on the 24th mum got the applcation form for me..i didn't go with the school coz they were charging about 3 times more than what we'd have to pay as individual participants... so...yeah... then when mum was gonna submit my form..... they said application had been closed -.-''' .... what kinda world is this??? apprently its because they were full...but the point is...we pay to go for the damned thing so how can they be full when you will be running on the open road.... its not like some seminar in a closed place mah.... haih....but mum also pointed out that my knee wasn't all better yet so it was ok too.... just felt kinda..disappointed...was planning for that to be my last marathon this year... oh well..but now i realise its not that bad either...coz i have accounts skim on sunday mornings now..hehe...
Ohh...and bro started college today...hehe... guess my weekdays will be lonelier.... but it's been quite a while he was stuck at home so its good too...
Ohh..and today some dude came to give a talk on the importance of english or something...he was kinda teaching us pronounciation...monotics... bla bla bla... said something abt him knowing 8 languages... but i think the 8 languages oso... half bucket full wan lah...some of the things that I usually take note of when people speak english is saying stuff like "more stronger"... and he who comes from a language center in singapore and malaysia promoting english said that... and he said english is the multimedia language... i don't get that part....i don't think he is a caucasian.... he sounded like ermm... a punjabi or some of those people from muslim countries... so today was a waste of time at school... and at the end he promoted books for us to buy... pif.... all these ppl trying to sell stuff....

Interschool Rally 2008 :Legacy

This year's interschool rally was held at pandamaran sports complex on the 12th of July.... I only went once to a rally which was when i was in form 2 ... and they held it in hun hua last time.. so i decided to get a ride from yimin...
Joe Ann and I went to Yimin's house then we went to the pasar..hehe... and bought chee cheong fun for dinner ... then went back to her house and ate..then her brother sent us there...
I didn't see many people i knew though... i saw Sam...Ashlea...and Daniel.... but i tink they didn't see me.... anyways... we waited fo Jill Linn..then bought the T-shirt... then went in...
Usually at church services we sing for not too long and then the pastor gives the service... but the singing just went on and on and on.... i usually stand all the way but this time we sat halfway through.... and the pastor came out and gave a very short message... and at the end of the day i don't think we really got the message.. coz when Jill sent me back she asked her brother "Ko.. what is Legacy ahh?" Then her bro explained to her then she asked again "So what is it that they're trying to tell us?" -.-"' And even i felt really different..I remember the last rally that i really felt that i could relate to what the pastor talked about and got the message but this time i couldn't..so i was kinda disappointed ... But after the rally Jill Linn suggested we go to Bukit Tinggi JJ to watch a movie :) ... I was going to call mum to ask for permission then i stopped.... I'll call dad... hehe..and gave me the green light :) .... so that was my first time watching a midnight screening with friends.... hehe...
We watched Hancock...hehe... quite a nice show... very funny... the show ended at 12+ then Jill's bro sent Yimin back then sent me back.... i got back around 1+ i tink but i slept around 3.30..hehe...long day...

Officially Retired..

Today is our Kelab Rekacipta's AGM... which means we form 5 seniors have to step down.. so we were kinda worried at first...didn't seem like there were enough members to fill the spots but thank goodness there were enough in the end...
The outcome of the election is not exactly important... since i used to be the auditor..the one with no jobs...haha... but we weren't really a very active club... but being in the club..i remember i helped do the invitations for the seniors' majlis perpisahan... it felt good doing it and being appreciated...and our meetings were all fun and laughter... which resulted in no action taken... sadly... but that's ok...
Anyways at the AGM i didn't know any of the juniors but to the end point i saw the name list and i saw a name "Effie Wong Ying Xuan" ... the girl introduced herself as Ying Xuan ...but the name Effie brought me memories of a frined i had in kindergarten.... Effie loved chipsmore... and my brother tripped her once... he sat on the floor and stretched out his leg...Effie was running and she tripped... I remember that incident very very well... and so when i brought them outside to jaga and make sure they don't know the results before they're supposed to know i asked Effie if she used to be from Tadika Merrychild... she was shocked and said nobody asked that before but she was from merrychild.. the sad thing is she doesn't remember me... I don't blame her...since i left kindy early... but it's not everyday u get to reunite...and in such an unexpected way..if only i have a picture :( .... same thing goes for Lai Yi Min... My primary school friend...who made my lips bengkak... and she left to go to kong hoe ..and now she's in kwang hua and she doesn't remember me... and then in primary school i met Tricia.. also used to be from merychild.. she remembered me for a while... after that she forgot as well... *sigh* .... sometimes it hurts to remember...

Saturday was a long day for me...started in the morning...
I was actually gonna go for the Taylor's Clinary Challenge with Yi Min..but it was her bro's wedding so changed partner..to Chin Li... I was apprehensive.. but after a while i thought i should just go for experience... So picked her up from school and went there..
They said the surprise ingredient was chicken... well they didn't exactly announce it that way so i didn't really get it... and we don't know how to erm.. cut off the bones from the chicken... but anyhow we decided on pasta...my being used to mum's wok left me unprepared to use a pan to make spaghetti sauce... the pan was tiny... needless to say we didn't make it through the next round... since they cut from 29 teams to 6.... and ours didn't taste good...though it looked good..haha...
But it was good as well coz we got to learn pastry :) .... I feel kinda guilty for being more passionate about pastry and desserts than cooking... anyways... we learnt how to make choux pastry..and they did a flambe demo.. and we learnt how to cut fruits... not just simply cut lah...but cut with style...took a long time for me though...
after all the cooking and stuff went home to get ready to go to yimin's open house... she only invited Chinli and me coz she tot we were the nearest and her parents asked her not to call too many people... she moved to botanic..and her house was quite nice...it didn't feel like a semi-D to me...felt bigger.. then we took a stroll to the lake and just chatted... it's quite nice going to a friend's house... kinda forgot what it feels like... coz i haven't been to a friend's house in a long time... what to do... petrol prices increased...
